Schedule a pinched nerve treatment if you are suffering from severe back pain. Very often, people who are dealing with back pain actually struggle because their spine is out of alignment and a nerve has become pinched. This can lead to severe discomfort, a loss of mobility and debilitating pain. In this case, no amount of stretching or massage will solve the problem. Instead, pinched nerve treatment must be scheduled to find relief.
It is important to note that a pinched nerve will typically require treatment. Many people will wait, living with the discomfort, hoping that it will go away. This could be a waste of time and entirely unnecessary. Since treatment is possible, there is no reason to live in discomfort.
Noninvasive pinched nerve treatment
Our procedure is noninvasive. This means that we do not cut patients open or perform surgery in order to relieve the pressure placed on the pinched nerve. For this reason, we recommend visiting our office for treatment before considering any more invasive options.
Something like surgery should never be attempted until all noninvasive or minimally invasive treatments have been exhausted. Surgical treatments:
- Are difficult to recover from
- Have risks associated with them
- Are expensive
- Require taking time off work and getting help around the house, with children, transportation, etc.
Instead, we recommend visiting our clinic for treatment before trying anything else.
How it works
Our pinched nerve treatment focuses on creating space in between the vertebrae so that the pressure being placed on the nerve can be relieved. We do this through decompression type techniques. To understand why this is successful it helps to know that in between each vertebra there is a cushion that is supposed to prevent the vertebrae from touching and ensure that no nerves are pinched.
If that becomes worn down or the vertebra slips out of position, a nerve can be pinched between two vertebrae. To feel better, the vertebrae need to move back into alignment and pressure needs to be alleviated from the nerve itself. Fortunately, chiropractic care can accomplish this.
We often use decompression to create space in between two vertebrae so that no nerves are pinched. This is entirely noninvasive but so effective that many people report feeling better after just one treatment. Even if several are required, they are convenient, affordable and safe.
Our treatment is affordable
Many insurance companies will pay for chiropractic care and treatment designed to address pinched nerves. If you would like to know if your insurance covers the procedure, call and speak with our office manager. Even if they do not, this is an affordable way to relieve pressure on pinched nerves, especially when compared with something invasive like surgery. We can discuss any financial questions you have over the phone or in person.
